There are a few shares that I’ve been working on that have recently taken a new direction given the self isolation. These amazing Lebert Equalizer bars are definitely one of those items. The Equalizer Bars were my most trusted items at home when I couldn’t get to the gym and now with gyms being closed, I have come to rely on my bars.
Trying to schedule in working out with two kids, 3 soccer schedules, the blog, and my shop can be overwhelming. Taking care of yourself doesn’t need to be that hard and with the Equalizer Bars in your life, it clearly doesn’t need to be! What if I told you that you could get a full body work out right from your own home with two bars?
The Lebert Equalizer Total Body Strengthener is one of the most versatile exercise packages on the market and thankfully it barely takes up any room. With over 100 body-weight strength exercises ranging from beginner all the way to advanced, this is truly the best workout system yet and you don’t even have to leave your home.
Most of you know that I’m a pretty regular runner, it takes care of my soul in a way nothing has before. Running has brought me plenty of soreness but even more joy! Going from being a smoker to being a runner was a huge change but like most things, you only get so far before you hit a plateau.
I’ve been dying to run a little faster and a little bit longer but without some strength training, my muscles were not getting the push they needed to hit my goals. I had always wanted to cross-train but I just didn’t have the time for it nor did I have the money to invest in all the equipment. Then I found the Lebert EQualizer Bars and working out at home got so much easier.
Ok, I hear you! What exactly are the Lebert EQualizer Bars?
The Lebert EQualizer bars were created by personal trainer and Taekwondo Black Belt, Marc Lebert. These simple, portable multi-purpose bars are one of the most versatile pieces of strength training equipment yet. These steel bars will work your arms, chest, back and even your core muscles using your own body weight as resistance.
Each stainless steel bar weighs 8lbs and is 28.5″ Height x 25″ Weight. They feature a durable solid foam grip and support up to 400 pounds and with a wide feet to height ratio, the EQualizer bars are stable enough for the toughest boot camp.
The Lebert EQualizer bars allow you to use your own body weight as resistance and decide what level is right for you. A simple modification (usually leg placement) can allow for the set to be extended. This means you’re able to easily add more repetitions without having to stop and change a pin in a machine or have someone helping.
This simple versatility of the EQualizer bars allows you full control over the amount of body-weight used for a given exercise. The result is greater muscle endurance and strength. The EQualizer bars are the most stable bars without sacrificing the benefits of instability.
Trying them out for the first time was a bit scary as I was certain the I was going to fall on my face. Thankfully, I did not and was very quickly able to gain the confidence to make this a part of my daily routine. The best part is even the kids love using it.
One of my favourite things about using these bars is that I have lifetime access to online support and coaching. Simply join the private Lebert Fitness Health and Wellness Group on Facebook and challenges and videos are right at your fingertips.
Each week Jesse Benjamin has been uploading these amazing challenges that not only have you taking care of your physical you but also the wellness side to you. From meditation to positive affirmations. Lebert Fitness truly is fitness for all.
